Tom Hughes

Having worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry, Tom Hughes brings over 20+ years of musical experience and expertise to the market with Dragonfly Studios.  From the age of 5, Tom was classically trained and pursued a formal education in music/music technology eventually achieving a degree in Music Production from the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, Surrey. Tom has a diverse range of experience as a professional in the music industry having worked with  acts/producers such as Paul Waller (Eric Clapton, B.B King & Massive Attack) Richard Coppen (Tenpole Tudor, Adam Ant & Simply Red), Bob Cranham (Newton Faulkner), Bradley Wool (Katy B), Chris MacVittie & Dayalata Rawat (Chris&Daya), Mike Malyan (Monuments & The Algorithm), Michael Goodlet (Emphasize & Fuse ODG), Paul Davis (Sugababes/Westlife), Gregg Kofi Brown (Osibisa/Sting) and Paul Rayner-Brown (Rainbow Group, Pro Music International & EA Games). As the CEO/Founder of Dragonfly, Tom has also hosted numerous successful live events, performance showcases and festivals in surrounding Surrey and beyond. As a musician in his own right, he has toured extensively up and down the country playing guitar, drums, bass and sung with some of the most successful live acts both nationally and internationally.

Sue Hughes

Sue has been a musician all her life. She studied piano, oboe, and singing at Trinity College of Music where she gained the GTCL (graduate diploma) and TLCL (piano teacher’s diploma). She later completed her studies at London University, gaining a Bmus from Goldsmiths’ College and Certificate in Education from S Mark & S John, Chelsea. Sue was Director of Music at Sutton High School for over 33 years until her retirement in December 2013. She has a wide experience of practical and academic music; her choirs have performed at a variety of venues, from The Hawth in Crawley to Notre Dame in Paris and she has been Musical Director for numerous musical productions. Sue gives private piano and singing lessons; she is deputy teacher at Junior Trinity, where she started out, and is the Musical Director of South Nutfield Choral Society.

Jon Barrett

Jon is an experienced change manager with over thirty year’s experience of modifying public, private, third sector and start up organisations to meet their markets requirements and thrive as a result. As Dragonfly’s chief business brain, he keeps everything on track and makes sure we really do provide our customers the best service we possibly can.

Natasha Barrett

Having written for Royal Holloway’s newspaper in 2013, Natasha is a young and talented music journalist who appears on Insanity Radio as a specialist presenter.  Tasha is passionate about music, journalism and social media and works with Dragonfly as a researcher and the general voice of the customer base.

Hannah Farmer

Having spent a very long time at University combining getting a PhD with seeing as much live music as possible, Hannah wanted a change and built her own start-up company ‘JollyGood’ as a way to help new business experiencing growth use marketing in the most effective ways. She helps out Dragonfly with marketing, and built the website.

Bradley Wool

Bradley had his first drum lesson at the age of 2 and hasn’t stopped since. His favourite genres of music are RnB and Gospel but he’s covered all kinds of music and loves playing all styles. Having worked with some of the biggest names in the industry up and down the country at venues such as the 02 Islington, Earls Court and Royal Albert Hall, he’s excited to be involved with Dragonfly. Music is his passion and his life, which is something Dragonfly understands.

Bob Cranham

Bob has, for almost 40 years, been a freelance, professional session guitarist and producer working in all areas music. After 4 years with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra (NYJO) Bob went on to work for most of the major record labels. In the theatre he has worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre as well as countless West End shows. In broadcasting Bob has worked on “live” shows, pre-recorded specials, series background music and documentaries for both BBC and ITV. Bob has toured with an incredibly broad range of artists from chart-topping artists to award-winning classical composers. As a freelance record producer Bob has over sixty album projects to his name plus singles & EP’s covering a broad range of styles and cultures. He’s looking forward to bringing his wealth of industry experience to Dragonfly.
